About Gamma Phi Beta
For decades, the Beta Alpha chapter of Gamma Phi Beta has offered our members a solid foundation, strength, sisterhood, and a wealth of opportunities. Whether raising money for Troy Camp, studying for finals, or exploring Los Angeles with our sisters, Gamma Phi Beta lives by their mission statement: “To inspire the highest type of womanhood.” This can be seen at Gamma Phi Beta in many forms. Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropy is “Girls on the Run”, and we volunteer at local chapters and give money raised through our philanthropy events such as Moonball (a row-wide basketball tournament!). They host weekly sisterhood events from watching The Bachelor on Monday nights to workout classes where we learn how to kickbox. New members feel constantly encouraged and supported by their sisters, and feel so thankful to have found our home-away-from-home on campus! Check out their website to learn more about what it means to be a Gamma Phi at USC.
Philanthropy
Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic goal is building strong girls. Our house is constantly empowering our members, and it's special to us to have the opportunity to empower other women as well. Gamma Phi Beta chapters all around the country support Girls on the Run, an organization that uses running as a platform to encourage young girls to be healthy and build confidence. We support Girls on the Run through Moonball, a basketball fundraiser that we host every fall!
