Recommendation Letters

Recommendation letters are a form completed by an alumna member of a sorority, recommending a potential new member for membership. It may also be referred to as sponsorship or reference. Although recommendations are not required, we highly encourage students going through the recruitment process to explore if they know individuals who are available to submit a recommendation on their behalf. Each organization has its own process for submissions. Some have online processes, others require a printed copy be mailed to the chapter.

Below are the time periods for recommendation letters submissions for both recruitment processes during the 2018- 2019 academic year:

Fall 2018 participants: April 2018 – August 15, 2018

Spring 2019 participants: November 2018 – January 16, 2019

For more information about each organization’s recommendation process please follow the links below (links to be added shortly).
